Amy BurrisAmy Burris

Office Manager

Amy Burris joined Healy Milne and Associates in February, 2007.  Amy handles personnel matters, does the firm bookkeeping, pays bills, generates invoices, receives payments, prepares tax forms and tax returns and works with the Managing Partner to budget and plan.  Before joining the firm, Amy worked at several jobs that more than prepared her for the challenge of managing a busy and successful law office.  Feel free to ask her about modern solutions for male pattern baldness, or the sights and smells of the early morning in a bakery.   One might find Amy attending an accounting or business management class at Tyler Junior College, or working out (but not sweating) at the gym.  She might be watching LOST or be out on a walk in the brick streets neighborhood with her beautiful daughter.  Amy is a well rounded person and enjoys painting, reading, playing racquetball, traveling and swimming.  Best of all, she loves to endlessly ruminate about the dangers and benefits of a long term relationship with a nice guy.

Kyrra GaddisKyrra Gaddis

Senior Legal Assistant

Kyrra Gaddis has been a Legal Assistant with Healy Milne & Associates, P.C. since its inception.  She must have known what she was getting into, because she’d worked as a Legal Assistant for Peter Milne, Sean Healy and other area attorneys for the past 11 years.  Kyrra primarily assists attorney Peter Milne in the practice areas of tax law, business law, probate, guardianship, elder law and estate planning.  In her free time, Kyrra loves to camp or to boat on one of the numerous lakes in the area or simply to “hang out” in the backyard with the family.  Kyrra has three children with extremely unusual names, including an adult daughter, Lainey, who attends Tyler Junior College and continually threatens to move back home, a son, Skyler who attends Whitehouse High School and a three year old son, Zack whose arrival was a very pleasant surprise.   When not working, boating, camping, attending to her children, or eating mounds of her fiancee John’s  world famous crawfish at one of those idyllic east Texas backyard “boils”, Kyrra spends her time  in ways that really matter.   For example, when Kyrra disappears from work and home, as she often does, it is rumored that she is at some secret government installation, solving complex differential equations as a member of  a conscripted  team of non-paid citizen experts , tasked with the challenge of solving global warming.

Ginger LetoGinger Lento

Legal Assistant

Ginger Lento joined the firm in September of 2008.  Ginger primarily assists attorney Sean Healy in the practice areas of business law, family law, civil litigation, construction law and property law.  She also assists Mr. Healy in his practice as a mediator and AAA Arbitrator. Ginger was raised in west Texas and began her migration eastward in 1984.  She lived in the DFW Metroplex for several years but was not really satisfied until she landed in the Tyler area.  Ginger’s “pre-law” days were interesting and varied.  She was a partner in several successful family run businesses and was a licensed alcohol and chemical dependency counselor.  These experiences alone make her the perfect addition to any small law firm!  Ginger has two children, Chad and Chelsea and has been blessed with a grandson, Tristan.  Ginger is attending Tyler Junior College to obtain her Certification as a Paralegal.   Ginger loves people, is involved in church and family and is a mentor to those in need.  Ginger is full of it, I mean life and energy, and always welcomes a challenge.

Elizabeth LuaElizabeth Lua

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

No one has a tougher job in the firm than Elizabeth Lua!   Elizabeth joined Healy Milne and Associates as a receptionist in November 2007.  In addition to listening to everyone criticize and whine, Elizabeth answers phones, makes appointments, calendars deadlines, runs to the courthouse, files mountains of paper and so on and so on.  It’s a very good thing for the firm and our clients that since 2001, Elizabeth has worked in fast paced jobs where customer service and problem solving were key priorities.  Elizabeth was raised in the San Francisco, California Bay Area.   Unlike Kyrra’s daughter Lainey, who simply threatens to move back home, Elizabeth  finally got some sense and moved from Californa to Tyler in 2006.  Her excuse was that she wanted to be closer to her family and to help her father with his stone countertop installation business, but we all know that the idea of free rent wasn’t so bad.  Elizabeth keeps fit by going to the gym with Amy, running back and forth to the courthouse, bank and other attorney’s offices.  She loves climbing up and down the office stairs in a futile attempt to keep the work lives of the attorneys organized.  Elizabeth spends most of her free time as a pioneer doing missionary work, and meeting and sharing with new people. She is a dedicated aunt to her nieces and nephews.
