Peter G. Milne

Peter Milne was born in Durant, Oklahoma in 1956. His father, now deceased, was a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and a regional sales manager after retiring from active service. His mother retired from a career as an elementary school teacher. She taught Peter and countless other children the skill and joy of reading, comprehension and logical thought. Peter is the oldest of six siblings and has an interesting, extended family living as far away as Edinburgh, Scotland.
After completing voluntary service in the U.S. Navy in 1977, Peter married, attended college and raised two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Megan. He graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.A. in Geology in 1982 and practiced as a private industry and government geologist until 1994. Peter then left civil service and started a consulting business providing professional services to the mining and heavy civil construction industries.
In 1998, Peter began the study of law at Golden Gate University School of Law while working full time as a heavy civil project manager and then part time as a Law Clerk in the Gordon & Rees, LP, Construction Practice Group. He graduated with a JD in May, 2002, sat for and passed the Texas bar exam in July of the same year. Ever the over acheiver, he studied, sat for and passed the California bar exam in February, 2003, while enrolled in the Laws of Taxation graduate program at Golden Gate University and while practicing law part time. Peter received a L.L.M. degree in Laws of Taxation in December, 2003.
Seeking a change of lifestyle, in December, 2003, Peter and his wife, Dr. Stasha Gominak, a Baylor University Medical School graduate and practicing neurologist (the really smart one of the family), moved from Campbell, California to Tyler, Texas.
Peter is a member of the Smith County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, Tax Section, Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section, Litigation Section, and Family Law Section. He is a member of the State Bar of California and District of Columbia Tax Sections. Peter was admitted to practice in Texas in 2002 and in California and the District of Columbia in 2003. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit; U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the Northern District of California, and the United States Tax Court. He is authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in accordance with the Circular 230 regulations. Peter is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Community service is an important aspect of Peter’s life. He’s a member of the Board of Directors for Historic Tyler, Inc., a member and past Director of Smith County Children’s Services Foundation, and a Director of the Smith County Bar Foundation. Peter contributes many hours of pro bono legal services annually to clients referred by Lone Star Legal Aid Services.
While not serving clients or the community, Peter and Stasha enjoy renovating their 1874 historic Tyler home or traveling to their vacation home in Mexico. They cherish quiet time spent with one another, their pets, family and friends. Peter and Stasha’s grandson, Nathaniel, who they loving refer to as thier ”Little Anti-Depressent” lives with his mother and father in Ontario, California.

Born in Wichita, Kansas on April 4, 1966, Sean P. Healy has a general civil practice, focusing on litigation, business law, family law, and firearms matters. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, majoring in Psychology and Communications Studies. He received his law degree from the University of Kansas, and has been admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Texas and Kansas. Sean is a certified mediator and arbitrator and is one of a few attorney arbitrators in East Texas certified by the American Arbitration Association in commercial and construction disputes.
Sean served as a part-time business law instructor at Tyler Junior College. He was the course director of the Survival Kit for Small Businesses, a three week business seminar conducted at the Regional Training and Development Center. He is also a member of American Mensa, having served as its National Corporate Counsel.
Sean devotes a great deal of time to the community, having served as a local, state, and national officer in various volunteer organizations. He has served as President of Tyler Junior Chamber of Commerce and was named Outstanding Appointed Officer of the Year for his work as General Counsel for the Texas Jaycees, an organization providing leadership training through community service throughout Texas. He received the John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Achievement Award in 1995. He is a graduate of the Class IX of Leadership Tyler, served two years as President of Greater Tyler Toastmasters. He is certified as an Able Toastmaster and has won several speech contests.
Sean is a single dad and enjoys spending time with his daughter Katelynn. In his spare time, Sean is a concealed handgun instructor, NRA-Certified Instructor and Training Counselor, and nationally-trained 4-H Shooting Sports instructor trainer.
